Flats Fishing Key West Florida

January on the flats has been quite wonderful.
Permit fishing was decent amd lots of barracuda.
The last week, however, the weather has been tough.
Cold winter weather. Or cold for us down here in the Keys.
Fishing has been good. Although, we went from chasing permit to chasing barracuda and shark instead.
In most cases we can find some good action up on the flats.
It might not be tailing permit, or bonefish, but you can bet we find a fish or two that will pull hard and likely take to down into your fly line backing.
Don't forget to get your spring and summer tarpon dates booked.
