Bonefishing in Key West, Fl.
Report Date: September 6, 2010
Bonefishing in Key West, fl in the summer time can be considered nothing short of spectacular.
Although Key West, Fl. may not host the largest schools of bonefish, we can however, provide some of the largest size bonefish found world wide. The first few days of September has been great fishing. Many of my clients are having good luck with bonefish, as you can see on the video on my web site. These bones are happy to feed on small crab, and shrimp like fly patterns. Casting little buck tail jigs on an ultra light spin outfit is fun and a great way to catch bonefish if you are not into fly fishing.
The permit fishing has been decent. I would not say its the best summer permit fishing ever, however, there are plenty of shots to be had on a charter.
The shark fishing is always good in the summer time. Many lemon shark, black tip, and a few bull shark cruising these shallow water flats looking for a bite to eat.
Come visit Key West, and spend a day fishing the flats.
