Key West florida flats fishing this winter.

Happy holidays from Key West. Yes, it winter time, and I happy to say the weather has been spectacular.

The fishing has been good so far this December. The water temperature has stayed well above 70 for almost the whole month so the fish are happy.

Plenty of fishing action on the flats. The barracuda have been found with consistency on the flats, along with permit, and shark. I have seen a few cobia, and the larger jack trailing off the backs of the sting rays.

Not to worry there is plenty of great shallow water fishing to be had down here in the Keys this winter….
